February 8 - Sunday School Special Lesson Lent Fellowship Activity Our monthly faith-based, fellowship activities give our Sunday School students a chance to participate in special lessons focused on growing in faith and building friendships within our program. Our February lesson will focus on the meaning of Ash Wednesday and the season of Lent as well as provide a chance for our students to commit to Lenten Disciplines.
President's Day Weekend - No Sunday School February 15 Children are always welcome in service. We have 2 toddler play areas in the left and right corners of the worship space and children's activity bags are available upon request. Visit the Worship Services page for more information.
Rescue a Generation Appeal Weekend - February 22 Sunday School students will learn about the Rescue a Generation Ministry, which supports students in Mendi, Ethiopia. After Sunday School, everyone is invited to sample Ethiopian food and coffee in the Narthex.
Hosanna! Preschool Sunday Sing - March 1 Hosanna! Preschool students and their families are invited to join us for worship, Sunday school & a reception to celebrate preschool families and thank the congregation for supporting Hosanna! Preschool.
Fifth Grade First Communion Details First Communion will take place on Sunday, May 3 at the 10:00 am worship service. Fifth grade Sunday School students have been receiving Communion preparation classes throughout the year. Additionally, families must attend one preparation class on either April 19, 11:15 - 12:45 pm or April 22, 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Carmen Kujanski, Director of Faith Formation, will provide preparation class details to all registered fifth grade families. If your child isn't enrolled in Sunday School, but you would like to participate in First Communion, please contact Carmen at [email protected].
