Serving Opportunities

We all are responsible to help others in need.  Hosanna! takes the Bible to heart and partners with dozens of other ministry organizations to impact both our surrounding community and the world in Christian love and support.  Jesus Himself said that He came to serve others, not to be served.  We can do nothing less. For a list of many of our ministry partners and links to their websites, click here

Hosanna! has won awards for our various community service efforts - and we welcome you to participate! There are one-time special serving projects, ongoing service efforts and international initiatives taking place year-round. Current Hosanna! Community Care Pantry Needs

Did you know that next to the Family Restroom in Room 603, Hosanna! has a food pantry that is available for those who are in emergency need of food?  The Community Care Pantry is always open to families and individuals during business hours and weekend worship service times.

The need in our community is increasing.  On some days, we have 8-10 families per day coming to us for help. We are glad the word is getting out that families can come here for assistance, but the increased load has caused us to have to institute a slight change in the amount of food people can take away. Those in need have to stop into the church office, print and sign their name, and receive 1 bag of groceries from the pantry every 2 weeks - no further questions asked.

We thank the increasing number of scout troops, service organizations and individual families who are helping to keep our pantry shelves stocked on a weekly or 1-time basis ... you are making a difference with your contributions!  If you have a group and want to help, contact the church office for our most up-to-date list of pantry item needs.
